“We don’t want it to end!” Those were the words of the children this week at the closing day of our Summer Vacation Bible School in Santiago. Kids from the neighborhoods of several of the members of our church were brought in to this special week of activities, games, handcraft, Bible memory work, food and of course, special lessons taught from God’s Holy Word. The counselors reported 13 children who made professions of faith, receiving Christ as their personal Savior. Then, on Saturday two of the mothers of children that attended all week came and received the Lord into their hearts. Glory to God! With reports like that, We don’t want it to end either!
God has certainly blessed and we give praise to Him. While we are in the States reporting to several of our churches, our national pastor, Hugo Ulloa, is doing a fine job directing the ministries we left. Two weeks after we came back to the States and after having baptized six new believers into the membership of the Bible Baptist Church of La Reina, six other young people and adults received Christ as their Savior in an evangelistic campaign held over one weekend. Now with 15 more making professions of faith, the baptismal waters will once again be stirred very soon.
We ask for your continued prayer for the works there in Chile South America as we continue our furlough travels here in the States. Pray for God’s direction in the lives of our national pastors and that His Name be glorified in all that is done, that souls continue to be pulled out of the fire as His servants faithfully preach the Gospel message.
