Dear Friends, we trust that each one of you enjoyed a very blessed Thanksgiving this year. Our day was truly special. One of our long-time members had passed into eternity. The church was full for the memorial service the evening before the funeral. Most of the folks in the crowd were friends and family members of this lady, and our own members stood at the back and outside of the door. We were privileged to preach the salvation message during the service, and twelve adults made professions of faith!
What made this so special was that this all happened right in the middle of our two-week evangelistic campaign. After hitting the streets for three weeks before the campaign, and passing out hundreds of flyers and tracts, two ladies and a little girl made professions of faith in our services.
The interesting part is that the professions of faith weren’t made by folks that we had invited in our street work. We always teach our people that if we are faithful to the Lord, and in His service, He will give the increase. This is His work, and we are to obey. We are to sow and cultivate and trust Him for the harvest.
It is a real blessing and joy to serve the Lord. We are already looking forward to the opportunities that may come our way in the year to come!
Thank you for having a part in our family and in this wonderful ministry. May the Lord richly bless each one of you!
